The process of querying literary agents for traditional publication can be a daunting process – from revising your manuscript to crafting your query list to putting together your materials to submit. A non-biased and professional critique can help you to be absolutely sure you’re making a great impression from your first submission.
The querying process varies wildly for each agent and agency – but the two things every writer will need for fiction queries is your query letter and your full synopsis. Our editors work to insure every necessary detail is concise and thoughtfully illustrated, so your novel’s vision is both clearly stated and grabs the attention of your prospective agents.
We ask all clients to please include in your query critique requests the genre, age group, word count, and any marginalized groups you would like to include or not include in your query. Diversity in publishing is vital, however every author’s safety and well-being comes first. As fellow marginalized writers, we endeavor to protect your privacy; no one should need to out themselves to sell their book.
NOVELS MUST BE FULLY COMPLETE BEFORE QUERYING, though novel editing is not included in this package – please see our editorial packages for those services. Query letters should be limited to one page. Synopsis should be no more than two pages in length.
Pricing: $25 per round of critique, per item.
